bommarillu movie storyline : siddu is the son of an over-protective business man. every decision of his is made by his father, which leads him into frustration. he half-heartedly agrees to become engaged to a rich mans daughter, but then falls for a middle-class mans daughter called hasini. the film focuses on his realization that he has to stand on his own and come out of his fathers protective shell- and try to succeed in love.
on the next day, siddharth arrives in chennai. he is still a novice to the city. he stays with a friend in madras. he has no mobile phones and no identification. siddharth comes to know that chiranjeevi is shooting in a film named bommarillu. siddharth leaves to bommarillu to watch the shoot. siddharth watches the shoot with excitement. siddharth is attracted to the heroine of the film, janaki. janaki, however, seems to ignore him. siddharth travels from bommarillu and goes to the railway station. he gets off the train and boards another train. his friend leaves. siddharth gets off the train and goes towards the station. he reaches the station and finds his father standing there. siddharth is surprised to see his father in chennai. siddharth asks about his whereabouts. siddharth's father explains that he came to chennai to meet a friend and goes to a hotel. his father tells siddharth that he got transferred to chennai and will meet his friend in a day or two. siddharth is surprised to know that he is in chennai. siddharth goes to sleep and dreams about his father. on the next day, siddharth goes to work. his friend goes with him. in the evening, siddharth calls his father and tells him that he is feeling sick. he asks his father to visit him. siddharth explains that his father is in chennai and he cannot meet him. his friend comes to know about the call and goes to his house.
