Valheim Download PC Game
You may have already heard about Valheim, the Viking survival game that for the last few years has been sending PC gamers into a land of brutal combat, exotic exploration, and resource-scarce crafting adventures. Since hitting Windows PC with PC Game Pass a few months ago, its community has only been growing. Today, Valheim (Game Preview) comes to console for the first time with Xbox Game Pass, and we had the chance to speak to Iron Gate Studio Co-Founder Henrik Törnqvist about bringing their surprise mega-hit to Xbox One and Xbox Series XS, and why now may be the perfect time to sharpen that axe and journey to Valheim.
While overall gameplay between PC and Xbox remains consistent, the console version will also incorporate fidelity mode settings to allow players to select between quality and performance, or even a more balanced option planned for a future update.
With Valheim (Game Preview) launching on Xbox One and Xbox Series XS today, the team is now focused on completing development and preparing for the official launch, with Henrik Törnqvist sharing one last little bit of info on what that means for the future of the game.
Valheim (Game Preview) is now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series XS, and Windows PC as well as with Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. To learn more about the game, visit the official website and follow @Valheimgame on Twitter.
AMP is a popular game server management panel you can run on your own PC/server that supports Valheim and makes it easier to get the server going from its web interface. You can run it on both Windows and Linux. See the Video Tutorial on YouTube.
When it comes to the Valheim system requirements, any PC built in the last few years will be more than capable of running it thanks to the undemanding specs required. The cheapest graphics card you can play it on is an ATI FireGL T2-128. Furthermore, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 is recommended in order to run Valheim with the highest settings. That's still a six-year-old GPU, so this game shouldn't be a problem for any gaming PC built in the last few years.
Valheim is available on Steam via early access, meaning you can play the game as it evolves and grows. Naturally, this also means bugs can occur, so be mindful while you explore Iron Gate's Nordic limbo.
Iron Gate just released a new festive Valheim Christmas patch, and it adds quality-of-life updates alongside some bug fixes alongside seasonal treats. Not only can you celebrate Nordic noel while wearing a Santa hat, but you can also put a Christmas tree and lay down gifts at your settlement. The survival game's critters are also more chill, as tamed animals are no longer afraid of fire, and wolves won't howl once they're your pet.

Xbox released the full lineup of titles subscribers can download and play across cloud, console, and PC in the back half of September, many of which were previously announced. The major addition is the previously PlayStation exclusive shooter Deathloop, which is also coming to PlayStation Plus Extra today.
Sony San Diego Studios announced MLB The Show 23 today, and confirmed that it will launch across all major PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo systems on March 28. No new platforms were added this year, so PC players aren't getting in on the fun. Still, this announcement makes it clear that MLB The Show is a multiplatform series across PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo platforms for the foreseeable future. Xbox's version of the trailer also confirms that MLB The Show 23 will be on Xbox Game Pass at launch, making this first-party Sony series a day-one Game Pass title three years in a row. MLB The Show 23 - Cover Athlete RevealAs is typically the case with sports games, MLB The Show 23's reveal was primarily focused on its cover athlete. We learned that Jazz Chisholm Jr., a second baseman for the Miami Marlins, will grace the cover of the game. Like last year, the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions of the game will cost $60, while players on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S without Xbox Game Pass will need to pay $70. So far, no new gameplay features have been teased, although a blog post confirms that cross-platform multiplayer, saves, and progression across all versions of the game will return this year. So far, there's not a lot that actually seems new about MLB The Show 23, but this reveal concludes the genesis of a new era for the long-running baseball series. MLB The Show 23 will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on March 28.
During today's Xbox & Bethesda Developer_Direct presentation, Tango Gameworks announced Hi-Fi Rush, a rhythm-action game for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It launches later today and will be included on Xbox Game Pass.
Iron Gate will of course add the Mistlands biome to the main version of the game after it's had a bit more time with bug fixes and testing in the test branch. That doesn't have to stop you from jumping in to explore though. You can swap back and forth between the main early access version of Valheim and its public test branch at will. Just be sure you're diligent about keeping a backup copy of your save files.
Xbox Game Pass has shared news regarding when PC subscribers will be able to download and play Valheim. Xbox Game Pass subscribers have been hit with a wave of new game announcements over the past week. First came the wave of monthly Xbox Game Pass confirmations for September, then four Skybound Games offerings, and most recently a bunch of announcements from the Tokyo Game Show. Snuck into those announcements was confirmation of Valheim's long-awaited Xbox Game Pass PC release.
The announcement of Valheim's quickly-approaching release through Xbox Game Pass PC surprised a number of subscribers. Valheim wasn't expected until later this year, given Iron Gate's consequent work on the Xbox version of the game. Iron Gate is a small, but growing team of developers that's known to be taking its time with updates. The September Xbox Game Pass PC release of Valheim may be a surprise, but it's a welcome one.
While Valheim's release on Xbox Game Pass PC will be bringing a wave of new players to the game, many current Valheim players have their eye on something else. Iron Gate continues to work hard on Valheim's next update, which will include the highly anticipated Mistlands biome. A release window has yet to be announced for the Mistlands, but players are hopeful for a 2022 release.

Valheim is an open-world survival game played from a third-person perspective. As fallen Vikings, players must craft tools, build shelters and fight enemies to survive.[8] The game uses distinctive low-resolution stylized 3D graphics, with a combat system inspired by action games.[9] Co-operative gameplay with up to ten people and optional PvP gameplay is also supported.[8]
After creating their Viking character, players can create a world that is procedurally generated from a map seed.[10] Each world is split into several biomes, such as meadows, the Black Forest, swamps, mountains, plains, oceans, the Mistlands, the Deep North, and the Ashlands.[11] Each biome has its own unique enemies, items, and bosses that change how difficult it is to survive there. Valheim operates on an in-game day and night cycle.[12]
In addition, the game utilizes a skill-level system that ranges from blocking to running. Each skill can be increased up to a level of 100 and has different effects on the game mechanics. For example, the spears skill will determine the damage the player can do with spears,[14] while the running skill will determine how stamina is drained while sprinting.
The main objective of the game is to kill the six bosses located in different biomes of the game. To summon each boss, players must travel to each boss' altar and give a specific item as an offering. Bosses will drop a collectable trophy when killed; this trophy can be placed at a central altar to grant each player a special power-up. Power-ups can be used infinitely, but the player needs to wait for a brief period between uses.[15][16] 041b061a72
