Akame Ga Kill! Episode 13

In a house that is located in a secluded area of the forest, a man checks his guns and warns his wife not to go outside due to the increased attacks by Danger Beasts. Suddenly, these humanoid Danger Beasts barge into the house and kills the husband and then attacks the woman next. At the Imperial Capital's royal court, Emperor Makoto thanks Esdeath for putting down the rebels and offers her the Prime Minister's son as her possible husband. Esdeath declines the offer since she holds Tatsumi as her only love despite Tatsumi escaping her grasp. Afterwards, Honest chats with Esdeath and mentions how he will drown the young emperor into depravity with women, power, and money. Esdeath warns him not to give the emperor any adult diseases. Honest asks Esdeath to eliminate the new Danger Beasts who were attacking mines and settlements south of the capital, but he wants Esdeath to keep a few alive for research. In exchange, Esdeath asks Honest to send the rewards to her troops.

So for the most part the episode fritters away its time on frivolities, although it throws out a few tantalizing suggestions about what might be coming next. What is the previously-seen cloaked figure really up to? And how will Tatsumi get out of his fateful second meeting with Esdeath? Perhaps we will get more next episode than this one offers. 041b061a72
