We also finally have a conclusion to the opening titles sequence from the first series, though this time, they only showed a young Kaede with hair in brown/golden streaks. The rest of the cast came out to sing the jomonger song but still had the old theme playing in the background. It wasnt until they showed the last shot of the cast before the ending credits, where they finally had the vocals from the first series played.

After the credits, Tsukushi notices Kaede has the same markings on her upper lip and she asks why she didn't tell her. Kaede explains that if she didn't tell her, she wouldn't have had to marry Tsukasa. Tsukushi is stunned by this revelation. Tsukasa arrives in the office and asks Kaede to hand over Tsukushi to him. Shizuka steps in and tells Tsukasa that she broke a promise. She tells Tsukasa that Tsukushi is in love with him and that they might not be able to get her back. Kaede tries to stand up for Tsukushi, but Shizuka stops her. She asks Tsukushi if she wants to go to NYC with Tsukasa, to which Tsukushi answers in the affirmative, and then faints. Tsukasa has a heart attack. His father arrives and tells him that he won't recover for a while. Kaede goes back to her work and reads her magazine about food and cooking as she watches Tsukasa fighting for life. Tsukushi wakes up, remembering that Kaede told her that she didnt have to marry Tsukasa. She goes to the hospital and tells Tsukasa that she loves him. Yuki Nagato and Rui Hanazono visit Tsukasa, who asks them to find Tsukushi.

Just read your final recap. You really know what you are talking about! All the drama scenes you described had me in stitches. I couldnt stop laughing. I also loved the ending. You nailed it again! I also liked how Kaede gave Tsukushi advice on how to improve her walking. Thanks for the recap!
