An office worker dies and finds himself reincarnated as Leon Fou Bartfort in the Holfort Kingdom of the otome game that he was forced to complete by his sister. In this world, women reign supreme, and survival is particularly tough for 'mobs', background characters like him. Using his encyclopedic knowledge of the game from his past life, Leon sets on disrupting this world and its social hierarchy by finding the cheat item Luxion and enrolling in the Holtfort Academy. He attempts to live a normal life and find a wife, but through his actions he gets embroiled in all kinds of schemes, all while mingling with the nobility and other characters of the otome game.

After unenthusiastically blasting his way through an otome game set in a world dominated by women, the protagonist stumbles down a flight of stairs and reincarnates inside the dating sim. Once he regains his memories, Leon sets out to use his knowledge of the game to attend a prestige academy and lead an uneventful but enjoyable life as a mob character. Naturally, the latter does not happen.

What's worse than reincarnating as a nothing character? Becoming a game's main villain. Although there are many isekai anime set in games, few go down the dating sim route; in fact, prior to Leon's animated misadventure, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! was the outlier in the subgenre.

Similar to Trapped in a Dating Sim, My Next Life as a Villainess features a protagonist who regains their memories of a past life that reveals they are currently living through an otome game. In this case, Catarina realizes that she is programmed for a bad ending, a fate she quickly sets out to change. Packed with humor and lovable characters, this series is a delight, particularly the first season.

Ok so from the start, judging from the title, I sort of guessed that it won't exactly be the cliche isekai dating sim game world kind of anime. I was right, this one is definitely interesting. But that may be a personal opinion. 041b061a72
