Glider Sim Free Download
Experience general aviation as never before! World of Aircraft is a series of stand-alone simulators that each focus on a specific kind of flying. World of Aircraft: Glider Simulator includes a series of (motor-) gliders and tow aircraft based on a high-definition flying area.
The first release, World of Aircraft: Glider Simulator, puts you in the cockpit of the aircraft you find on an airfield dedicated to gliders. You will find older and modern gliders, even a motor glider and a glider with auxiliary engine waiting for you. You will even find a highly detailed tow aircraft to get your gliders in the air.
Note: We provide a serial number with the purchase of this download version. Afterwards, you need to download this add-on via STEAM and activate it. Further information can be found in the installation instruction.
PicaSim is a flight simulator for radio controlled aircraft. At the moment it concentrates mainly on gliders, but it has a few other aircraft too and I expect the stable will expand in the near future. You can get it for free (no ads etc) on Android, or so-cheap-it's-nearly-free on the Apple app store, or free-but-donate-if-you-like-it on Windows.

Before you are able to become a virtual aviator, you need a package for your PC or Mac. We feature some great free flight simulator packages that users may download including X-Plane, FlightGear, and Orbiter. However, for a true simulation experience with maximum features and expansion options, we currently recommend Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition or X-Plane (the latest is version 11) from Laminar Research; both can be purchased from our store, SimShack with worldwide delivery.
The most recent version is the Steam Edition re-released by Dovetail Games. You can read our review of the Steam Edition here. While it's slightly dated (and not up to date in terms of bug fixes and features), you can also download the original FSX demo from our file library here.
Out of the box, over 20 aircraft are included and highly detailed world scenery with thousands of airports and airfields. You can read our review here and of course, download a demo from our file library here.
You may use the entire website without registering. You can comment, ask question in the Q&A Forum and of course download any of the thousands of files we have available here. However, a speed limit is applied to file downloads if you are not registered for a PRO account. A PRO account gives you uncapped speed along with many other great features. Whilst flight simulators are most commonly associated with using aircraft such as a passenger plane or a fighter jet, the helicopters that are available for choice are every bit as impressive. Thankfully, for those who are on a budget, you can get countless excellent freeware packages to give you new aircraft to fly all the time. ...
X-Plane is one of the most popular virtual flight programs. And, most often than not, offers some of the most authentic virtual flight experiences on the market. Part of that experience is the scenery, and how real or authentic it looks. With this in mind, we will examine some of the best freeware photorealistic scenery add-ons currently available....

Based on brand-new hardware and software technology, it brings at-home flight simulation up to a whole new level. We designed Condor to give pilots the complete experience of soaring on their PC. The key to this experience is the feeling of immersion in the environment. Precise aerodynamics and weather physics drive the ongoing development. The Condor simulator with state of the art graphics, real time control feedback, and cockpit sounds immerses you, the pilot, in the experience and is the closest you can come to flying a glider without ever leaving the ground.

We have also listened to our community and will incorporate the most requested aircraft types: helicopters, brought to life with an all-new Fluid Dynamics Simulation, gliders that allow you to experience the planet in a totally unique way and a highly detailed, true-to-life airliner!
Here are two examples of an excellent full-featured simulator, offering the same benefits as the one shown in the sketch, plus portability. The HG Simulator below is being used by the Torrey Hawks Hang Gliding Club at the 2009 Kick Gas Festival in San Diego. This simulator has a rigid frame which can be disassembled and carried on most hang glider roof racks. It features a fully articulated swivel (possibly from a trike?) that provides full pitch and roll control. The mounting harware will accept most any glider with round downtubes. This photo shows a "mini glider", but it will accept a full-sized glider as well.
....the HangSim/ Microflight Demo (free) runs in 5-minute segments, with keyboard or joystick. Re-starting the demo lets you resume (continue) the same flight, if desired. MicroFlight/HangSim Start-Up settings.
A free RC simulator is nowhere near as realistic as the commercial RC flight simulators. But they are great for a brand new pilot trying to get used to "controlreversal", which is one of the most difficult aspects of learning to fly radio controlled aircraft. 041b061a72
