Con el objetivo de acercar a los niños a la literatura motivando su imaginación infantil y refrescar a los adultos las celebraciones de navidades pasadas y presentes la Biblioteca Municipal y el Ayuntamiento de Ojén convocan el I Certamen de Cuentos Navideños Villa de Ojén .

La 1 de Televisión Española estrena el sábado 4 de enero Un cuento de Navidad, una fábula mágica para toda la familia dirigida por Silvia Quer (23-F. El día más difícil del Rey, Operación Jaque). Una película navideña protagonizada por Pere Ponce, Míriam Iscla, Pep Antón Muñoz y Djedje Apali, entre otros, que cuenta la historia de los Reyes Magos de unos grandes almacenes. Los tres urdirán un plan para solucionar sus problemas que a punto estará de arrastrarles a perderlo todo. Esta película navideña es una producción de TVE en colaboración con Alea Docs & Films.
Santiago collaborated on collective works, such as Cuentos de este siglo, Cien años de cuento, El Faro, Miguel Delibes, and Jorge Guillén. She participated with 15 other authors in the project Contemos la Navidad, an anthology of stories and Christmas illustrations in homage to Antonio Pereira [es], which is published annually.[18] The project is coordinated by José Ignacio García García [es]. The 2013 edition was a tribute to Santiago in which her daughter and granddaughter, who is the author of one of the stories, participated.[19] Another project on which Santiago collaborated compiles traditional folktales narrated by voices of Castile and León.[20] She also contributed to the collective book Inmenso estrecho. Cuentos sobre inmigración (2005), contains the story "Finalmente, una oscuridad?", a work in solidarity with immigrants in which she advocates the need to move towards a multicultural society.[21]
Agossou began her career in Benin as a theater actress with the company "Sonangnon" created and developed by her. However, after 4 years of creating the company, she moved to Spain in 2002.[3] Then she learned Catalan and Spanish languages to pursue a career as an actress. She acted in the film Un cuento de Navidad (Christmas Tale) with the leading role of a woman wanted by the police for lack of papers as an illegal immigrant.[1]
Later, she played critically acclaimed roles in several African and international films including Los Nuestros, Moranetta, A cuento of Nadal and Palmeras en la Nieve. On 13 July 2017, Agossou presented to the press a shop called "NOK".[4]
Catalina Silva es Diseñadora Gráfica de la Universidad de Chile. Actualmente se dedica a hacer lo que más le gusta: dibujar, pintar y trabajar en proyectos que se relacionen con la transmisión de la cultura. En Amanuta ha ilustrado los libros El Patas de Hilo y Un cuento de Navidad.

Winner of the 2013 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, Isol (Marisol Misenta) has had a short career that has been both prolific and notable. Born in 1972 in Buenos Aires, Isol studied at the Escuela Nacional "Rogelio Yrurtia" and the University of Buenos Aires. While she planned to become an art teacher, she quickly began to work full-time illustrating and writing books for children, and her first book, Vida de perros [A Dog's Life] was published in 1997. Since then, Isol devotes her time and talent to writing, illustrating, and designing books for children, and to illustrating texts written by others, including Paul Auster, Graciela Montes, and Jorge Luján. Her work has been published in Mexico, the United States, France, Korea, Switzerland, Spain, and Argentina. In addition, she publishes illustrations in newspapers, writes and illustrates graphic novels and comics, leads workshops for illustrators, and sings professionally as a performer and recording artist. As well as winning the ALMA, Isol's work has won numerous awards: Nocturno won awards in Venezuela, Argentina, and Mexico; El cuento de navidad de Auggie Wren [Auggie Wren's Christmas Story] with text by Paul Auster made the White Ravens list in 2004; and Tic Tac won the Golden Apple Award in Slovakia.
