[VERIFIED] Fullmetal Alchemist The Revenge Of

Fullmetal Alchemist (Japanese: 鋼の錬金術師, Hepburn: Hagane no Renkinjutsushi, lit. "Alchemist of Steel") is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa. It was serialized in Square Enix's shōnen manga anthology magazine Monthly Shōnen Gangan between July 2001 and June 2010; the publisher later collected the individual chapters into twenty-seven tankōbon volumes. The steampunk world of Fullmetal Alchemist is primarily styled after the European Industrial Revolution. Set in the early 20th century, in a fictional universe in which alchemy is a widely practiced science, the series follows the journey of two alchemist brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, who are searching for the philosopher's stone to restore their bodies after a failed attempt to bring their mother back to life using alchemy.

Fullmetal Alchemist The Revenge Of

The Elrics are eventually attacked by an Ishbalan serial killer known as Scar, who targets State Alchemists in revenge for his people's genocide in the Ishbalan civil war. Returning to Resembool to have Edward's limbs repaired by their childhood friend and mechanic, Winry Rockbell, the Elrics meet Dr. Marcoh, who provides them with clues to learn that a Philosopher's Stone is created from human souls. They investigate a laboratory in which the Stones were created, but are hindered by the Homunculi. The Elrics decide to visit Izumi, hoping to improve their alchemy. Mustang's friend Maes Hughes continues the Elrics' research and finds out about a government conspiracy, but is killed by the homunculus Envy. The Elrics learn that Izumi also performed human transmutation, having attempted to use alchemy to revive her stillborn child. Alphonse is captured by the homunculus Greed, but is rescued by Amestris' leader King Bradley. Bradley is revealed to be the homunculus Wrath and brings the captured Greed to the Homunculi's creator, Father. When Greed refuses to rejoin his fellow Homunculi, he is reabsorbed by Father.

The series explores social problems, including discrimination, scientific advancement, political greed, brotherhood, family, and war.[15] Scar's backstory and his hatred of the state military references the Ainu people, who had their land taken by other people.[6] This includes the consequences of guerrilla warfare and the number of violent soldiers a military can have.[16] Some of the people who took the Ainus' land were originally Ainu; this irony is referenced in Scar's use of alchemy to kill alchemists even though it was forbidden in his own religion.[6] The Elrics being orphans and adopted by Pinako Rockbell reflects Arakawa's beliefs about the ways society should treat orphans. The characters' dedication to their occupations reference the need to work for food.[17] The series also explores the concept of equivalent exchange; to obtain something new, one must pay with something of equal value. This is applied by alchemists when creating new materials and is also a philosophical belief the Elric brothers follow.[12][18]

Adapted from the 64-episode anime, this instalment introduces the audience to Scar and his quest for revenge against all State Alchemists. The brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, must oppose him while also continuing to look into the existence of the mysterious homunculi. In the process, they meet several new characters including Ling Yao, the 12th crown prince of the eastern nation of Xing, as well as Mei Chang, a rival princess from the same country.

In a way, it is good because fans of the franchise can learn more about the other alchemists. But, the visual effects are not up to standard. Netflix has been a hit or a miss when it comes to how much they put into their special effects. So having that fluctuate between films and series is questionable.

Parents need to know that Fullmetal Alchemist: The Revenge of Scar is a 2022 action-fantasy in which two brothers must fight back against a mysterious and vengeful alchemist. It's a sequel to Fullmetal Alchemist, but there's enough context for it to be enjoyed on its own; it's also based on the anime series. Expect fantasy violence and imagery, including fighting with spells, punches, kicks. Drowning, bloody injuries, grenade explosions, train derailments. There are also scenes of war violence, including scenes of dead bodies (some are children), explosions, sniper fire, burning buildings. Some nightmarish imagery, including a villain who eats his victims with fangs that emerge from his chest. Some strong language throughout, including "s--t," "a--hole," "pr--k," son of a bitch," "crap," "damn," "bastard." Cigarette and cigar smoking.

In FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: THE REVENGE OF SCAR, a mysterious figure named Scar has appeared on the scene, targeting State Alchemists. Alchemist brothers Edward (Ryosuke Yamada) and Al Elric work together and with their allies Roy Mustang (Dean Fujioka) and Winry (Tsubasa Honda) to stop his rampage. Meanwhile, Edward and Al learn why Scar is so determined to get revenge, and how it's connected to the genocide in Ishvalan perpetrated by the State Alchemists, who were simply following the orders of their leaders. Meanwhile, the Homunculi have returned, and the perpetually-ravenous Gluttony is on the warpath, eager to get revenge for the death of his caretaker Lust.

This is an overly long and needlessly complicated action-fantasy. Fullmetal Alchemist: The Revenge of Scar tries to do too much with the little time it has, even as it surpasses the two-hour mark. It's about, among other things, the horrors of war, the limits of revenge, charity at all costs. There are two central storylines, and both contain their fair share of backstories and exposition, with some flashbacks to the previous movie, 2017's Fullmetal Alchemist. You don't have to watch the previous movie to understand what's happening in this one, but that's not so much due to this movie standing on its own, but more because context doesn't really help things.

As it is soon revealed, Scar is on a mission to kill every State Alchemist, in a desperate effort to exact revenge from the genocide the army committed years ago in Ishval, with his quest eventually revealing another side of the army and particularly of the Fuhrer, which was not evident at all before. At the same time, Edward and Alphonse stumble upon a prince named Lin Yao and his two bodyguards, who are in search of the Philosopher's Stone, as much as Lan Fan, a kind-hearted girl who is from the same country as the three foreigners. Envy and Gluttony are still almost everywhere running their own schemes, while the whole past story of Ishval is eventually revealed, connecting all the aforementioned with Winry, in the most dramatic arc of the movie, and Roy Mustang and his crew.

After a childhood attempt at human transmutation goes awry, alchemist brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric are on a quest to find the Philosopher's Stone, which they believe holds the key to regaining Ed's arm and leg as well as Al's body. However, they are pulled into danger as they infringe on military secrets and run afoul of mysterious creatures called Homunculi.

Edward Elric and Al try to steer clear of Scar, who wants to eliminate everyone from Amestris. However, he has no intention of staying away. Will Scar find his revenge or will Elric be able to use alchemy in order to protect everyone, including himself?

Edward Elric and Al are as hilarious as always. Envy is back too and is not scary but heartwarming this time. Flame alchemist Colonel Roy Mustang makes quite an entry. Alex Armstrong leaves little impression but then again, this character was always the quirky one.

A while later, Scar woke up in an emergency clinic, he discovered that his brother's arm was in him and that he was Ishval's only survivor, he felt blind rage and then killed Yurey and Sara Rockbell. After the extermination of the Ishvalians, Scar decided to take revenge with the alchemists.

Then using a description of his appearance and his scars they went on to call him Scar. Scar later traces Shou Tucker and kills him inside his house arriving there meets his daughter who was transformed into a chimera by him, he then with hers and his appearance mutilated he kils her in a quick and painless way. Later, the next day, Scar appears wandering around East City, Scar meets Edward Elrich, he attacks him on the street, forcing Edward and his brother to flee, soon after Scar has cornered the Elrich brothers, the Colonel Roy Mustang arrives the Strong Arm alchemist Alex Louis Armstrong they then they then arrives with a group of soldier to try isolate him, but the however Scar with hid red eyes being shown to the puplic before escaping in a sewer system.

After Scar visited by his mentor Ishval who speaks the cycle of hate and senseless violence, shortly after, he is intercepted by bounty hunters who were alerted of Scar's location through Yoki, Scar kill the bounty hunters, he then leaves the ghetto and goes to Central City to continue its revenge.

Scar returns again and begins his killings against the alchemist and crushing the Silver Alchemist, arriving there he meets May Chang one and traveler from the Xing Nation. He then sees Mustang and Edward Elrich in a talking alley, while the Mustang and the Elrich brothers are forced to fight Scar, after a long fight, the Elrich brothers are reluctant if Ishval's teaching would advocate the killing of the innocent Nina Tucker, and with this Scar says if the alchemist they insinuated could return it to normal after transforming it into an abomination. Then Edward Elrich demands to know why killed the doctors Rockbell during the war Ishval (thus leaving Winry Rockbell) being thus leaving Scar shocked with this, soon after Winry appears behind and points a weapon in the direction of Scar, having heard all talk, with that the brothers Elrich advises she does not shoot, but Scar contradicts them saying that she has every right to take revenge on him, but on the hour that he was threatening in front of Winry, Edward arrives in front of Winry, at the time Scar remembered his brother defending him from Solf J. Kimblee, soon after Scar runs away in the alley. Then when he watches to mutilate the Gluttony so he regenarates, h later realized why his abilities were unwarranted they later referred to Gluttony as homunculus, soon after, Scar tries to escape more is shot in the leg by Riza Hawkaye, later the brothers Elrich took advantage of the situation to capture the Scar but May creates a distraction so that the Scar can escape with security. While Scar was there, he meets Dr. Tim Marcoh being held captive by the homunculus, he explains to Scar that he was involved in the deaths of the people of Ishval, he is forced to cooperate by being threatened by the homunculi that would kill the humans of that village, Marcoh begs Scar to kill him more Scar does not do it soon after Scar and Marcoh escaped with a body transmuted by them. Later, Scar, May and Marcoh go to the northern region. 041b061a72
