S.W.A.T. Season 1 - Episode 15 [REPACK]
Let's start with the lighter moments before we get into what the whole episode was really about. In a sneak peek released earlier for the episode, we got a tease of an upcoming talent show for the S.W.A..T Academy and even found out that Chris did a frisbee routine with Champ while Luca did some sweet air guitar.
S.W.A.T. Season 1 - Episode 15
We shouldn't forget that series star Lina Esco directed this episode. It's always nice when an actor takes an interest in directing and even more impressive when they are in the episode they are directing just as much as if they weren't.
While this isn't the first time Esco has directed something, this is her first episode of the C.B.S. procedural, and it turned out to be one of my favorites. There was such a nice balance between the action, emotions, comedy, and more.
The first season of S.W.A.T. an American police procedural drama television series, premiered on CBS on November 2, 2017, and ended on May 17, 2018, with 22 episodes. It aired on Thursday at 10:00 p.m. The series is based on the 1975 television series of the same name created by Robert Hamner and developed by Rick Husky, and centers on Sergeant Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson and his Special Weapons And Tactics (S.W.A.T.) team operating in Los Angeles.
On February 3, 2017, it was announced that CBS had greenlit production of a pilot episode of a television series inspired by the 2003 film adaptation of the 1970s ABC series S.W.A.T..[24] The pilot was written by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan[25] and directed by Justin Lin.
The new series was ordered by CBS on May 12, 2017. Co-creator and executive producers Thomas and Ryan would serve as the showrunners.[26] The series premiered on November 2, 2017.[27] On November 17, 2017, CBS picked up the series for a full season of 20 episodes[28] and on December 1, 2017, CBS ordered two additional episodes for the first season bringing the total to 22 episodes.[29]
In February 2017, former Criminal Minds cast member Shemar Moore was announced as the Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson,[30] alongside new co-stars Kenny Johnson as Dominic Luca, who was originally named Brian Gamble,[31] and Lina Esco as Christina "Chris" Alonzo, who also originally named Sanchez.[31] Several additional cast members were announced in March 2017. Jay Harrington plays Officer Deacon Kay,[32] Alex Russell is James "Jim" Street,[33] and finally, Peter Onorati was cast as Jeff Mumford,[34] are four member of the S.W.A.T team of the Los Angeles Police Department in the original movie. On September 21, 2017, David Lim was cast in the role of Hondo's new co-member Victor Tan and was later promoted to series regular status for first season.[35]
The review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes reported a 48% approval rating for the first season, with an average rating of 4.59/10 based on 27 reviews. The website's critical consensus reads, "Despite a commanding, charming performance from Shemar Moore, S.W.A.T. remains a simple procedural overrun with clichés."[55] Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned a score of 45 out of 100 based on 12 reviews, indicating "mixed or average reviews".[56]
Entertainment Tonight shared a sneak peek of CBS' "S.W.A.T." episode 15, titled "Crews." In the clip, Hondo becomes emotional after his friend, Craig, is killed while trying to seek out information about a robbery crew.

By Mike Murphy Get ready for more 'You,' a new season of 'Love Is Blind' and Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler in 'Murder Mystery 2' Netflix has a lighter-than-usual lineup in March 2023, but there's still plenty to watch out for, including the return of "You," a revival of "Luther" and a new season of "Love Is Blind." A month after the first half of its fourth season dropped, "You" (March 9) will release its five-episode second half, with charming serial killer/stalker Joe still in London and going head-to-head with the "Eat the Rich" Killer and -- if the trailer is to be believed -- the shocking return of his ex. Speaking of crime, Idris Elba returns as the brilliant but disgraced London police detective in "Luther: The Fallen Sun" (March 10), a movie spinoff of the acclaimed BBC crime series; showrunner Shawn Ryan ("The Shield," "S.W.A.T.") has "The Night Agent" (March 23), a new drama about a low-ranking FBI agent who uncovers a White House conspiracy; and Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston return for "Murder Mystery 2" (March 31), the sequel to their 2019 Netflix movie, with the pair now full-time private eyes investigating a high-stakes kidnapping case on a private island.
