The Packers compiled 26.5 points per game on offense last season (ninth in NFL), and they ranked 13th on defense with 21.8 points allowed per game. The Vikings compiled 25.0 points per game on offense last season (14th in NFL), and they ranked 24th defensively with 25.1 points allowed per game.

Last week fans who got up in time for the game tuned in for a treat. The Vikings beat the Saints 28-25 and fans saw a great ending. Saints kicker Will Lutz hit a 60-yard field goal to tie the game at 25 apiece, before Vikings kicker Greg Joseph hit a 47-yarder, his fifth field goal of the day, with 24 seconds left to go back up three points. Remarkably, the Saints got back into fringe field goal range and sent Lutz out for a 61-yard field goal.

The Giants are coming into the game with a 3-1 record, their best start since their Super Bowl-winning season in 2011. With a win, the Giants would move to 4-1, which would be their best five-game start since opening 5-0 in 2009.

The Packers are also 3-1 and are on a three-game winning streak since falling to the Vikings in week 1. They escaped with an overtime win over the Mac Jones-less Patriots last week. With a win, the Packers would move to 4-1 for the fourth consecutive season.

As of Saturday morning, The Packers are favored to win by eight points over the Giants, and both teams are -110 to cover the spread. Nevertheless, the Packers are -375 to win outright while the Giants are +300. The total for the game is set at 41 points, and both the over and the under are -110.

It's week 2 of the NFL preseason, and one of the most exciting games will inevitably be the Packers-49ers matchup. Will Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers prevail in this unofficial rematch after San Francisco's Robbie Gould beat the odds, kicking that last-minute field goal in January that clinched the game and denied Green Bay its shot at the NFC Championship? The fastest way to find out is to stream the game live on Friday, August 12, at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The game airs on The NFL Network, which you might subscribe to if you have pay TV, but if you don't, I have bad news: an antenna won't help you, and streaming the NFL is a little complicated. In the US, there's no single option that lets you stream every game you'll want on any device you want.

But long story short, if you want to stream the Packers-49ers preseason game on the NFL Network, then at $35 a month, signing up for Sling Blue(Opens in a new tab) is probably your best bet.

At $35 a month after a free trial, Sling Blue(Opens in a new tab) is the cheapest live TV streaming service that includes The NFL Network. There are others, like Vidgo's "Plus" plan(Opens in a new tab) ($59.95 a month), the even more comprehensive YouTube TV (Opens in a new tab)($64.99 a month), FuboTV(Opens in a new tab) ($69.99 a month), or Hulu with Live TV(Opens in a new tab) ($69.99 a month with ads, or $75.99 a month ad-free).
